The quality of writing in this book is second to none. Each story is a small enough bite to finish in one sitting without sacrificing depth and enjoyment. I was hooked from the very first chapter. I plan to give it as gifts for just about any occasion because there are very few people that would not be able to find a blessing inside this gem. Think Chicken Soup for the Soul to the 10th power!
This beautiful book made me laugh, made me cry, and touched my soul. There is something between these covers for everyone poetry, fiction, and soul-baring personal journeys.
"Simple Pleasures" would make a great book for the coffee table or a gift for the person who has everything. I'm looking forward to the release of the next Mixed Blessings book!
